We have prayed, we have fasted today and will continue in the Word

I sat on my porch and some sparrows came by, and the Spirit of God reminded me about God’s attention to details from the powerful teachings of our Lord Jesus Christ

Matthew 10: 29,30 “Are not two sparrows sold for a penny? Yet not one of them will fall to the ground apart from the will of your Father. And even the very hairs of your head are all numbered.”

My bible commentary states:

“God takes time out to attend the sparrow’s funeral.”

Think about that:

How many times do we just drive past the body of a sparrow on the freeway and we don’t even know its there or stop to see what happened to it

But God cares even for that little, seemingly insignificant sparrow

Again the Words of our Lord so emphatically brought this out in Dr. Lukes account

Luke 12: 6,7 “Are not five sparrows sold for two pennies? Yet not one of them is forgotten by God”

In Matthew He said 2 sparrows are sold for a penny

Here Jesus says; five sparrows are sold for 2 pennies

That means that the fifth sparrow is thrown in free

[Instead of just being four sparrows for two pennies, the fifth one is thrown in free]

And Jesus says, ‘Even that fifth sparrow that comes in for nothing is not forgotten by God.’

Then Jesus goes on to say: Indeed the very hairs of your head are all numbered

Glory to God, we are so intimately known by God

I don’t even know myself like that, I had a scalp revival this morning after jogging on a pollen filled park and I can’t tell you how many hairs were on my hair dryers and combs

But God knows, He knows how many are remaining

Then He says, “don’t be afraid; you are worth more than many sparrows.”

At the crux of this coaching biblical perspective is that

’Until we grasp God’s infinite attention and care for the small things, we won’t really appreciate how much God cares for us’

If God cares that much for the fifth sparrow, how much more does he care for you and me

If we don’t learn to adopt God’s attitudes into our lives we won’t understand God’s attitude toward us as His children

He loves you so much that even when you cry HE collects your tears in His bottle and records them in His book

Ps 56:8 You keep track of all my sorrows. You have collected all my tears in your bottle. You have recorded each one in your book

Which means there is no experience that you ever go through that He does not have all the details about and you must receive that He cares and is concerned whether the world cares, is concerned or not

Today I pray for everyone who stops by here, may you receive that you are FULLY known by the creator of the universe, every detail of your life, every emotion, every experience, everything you go through, HE knows it all

May you receive that security that comes from the value that He places on you, you are the apple of His eye, His thoughts towards you are precious, He only has a Jeremiah 29:11 for you every day, every minute and I pray you remain responsive to Him at all times and allow Him to always lead you and guide you

I pray you will invest in reflecting His accuracy and care for the details of your life always
