Dear Israeli Defense Forces,
With much gratitude, I honor you—the Army of the living God of Israel, the same God of the Bible. You are the victorious descendants of warriors like King David, the unconquerable king who proved that no enemy is too vast.
You carry the spirit of that small, anointed boy in the Valley of Azekah, who with faith and a stone brought down the giant Goliath.
You are today’s Israelites, heirs to the military commander Joshua, whose brilliant strategies are still studied by the world today, for ancient cities merely heard about him and his team, and trembled in fear.
You share the relentless valor of Gideon, who defied impossible odds, marching into the dark with only three hundred men to shatter a massive army with the blazing power of God.
You bear the steadfast endurance of Moses, whose lifted hands upon the hilltop brought heaven’s triumph to the valley below.
And you carry the unbreakable resolve of the New Testament warriors—clad in the full Armor of God, fighting the good fight of faith like the Apostle Paul, and advancing under the ultimate, unconquerable power of the Lion of the Tribe of Judah, Yeshua, who has overcome the whole world.
When you stand on the frontlines, you do not stand alone; all of heaven’s armies stand with you.

On this Yom HaZikaron, we bow our heads and weep, to honor fallen heroes wrapped in quiet sleep. Yet through the solemn mourning, a vivid memory gleams of standing right beside you, beyond the news and screens.
In May of twenty-four, a fire within me stirred, I packed my bags and journeyed, responding to the prophetic Word of the Lord that He spoke to me in my prayer room.
I touched down in Tel Aviv, a land of ancient might, on a solidarity mission led by the Holy Spirit to meet you face-to-face.
Of all the precious moments, the one I hold most dear is stepping on the army base. We sat and shared a hearty lunch beneath the Middle Eastern sun. I met you, and I heard from you, seeing the duty done.

And then a holy resonance began to fill the air— You sang the songs of the God of Israel, a melody of prayer. To hear the living God extolled by soldiers, young and brave, reminded me of ancient words to comfort and save.
Our brethren who were taken captives are no more in captivity; you brought them safely home again to Israel’s sacred shore.
Yet right there on the military base, we bowed our heads to pray, to intercede for heavenly strength to always guide you on your way. We asked for a dispatch of hosts, angelic guards of fire, to walk with you and keep you safe through every thorn and wire.
On that mission trip, I also sat within the donor room, my very blood to send, to the Israeli Defense Forces in Gaza’s dust, a lifeline to extend.
The sacred expanse of the Mount of Olives filled my vision, accompanied by the quiet whispers of courage and prayer from my audio Bible.
Waking the following morning, I gazed upon the tender mark left on my arm—a physical testament to the blood I gladly donated. Instantly, my thoughts were drawn to the frontlines where you stand, reaffirming my vow to intercede for you as you hold the heavy night at bay.
I am reminded of our duty to cover you in prayer every single day. Whenever tidings arrive of your hard-won victories, I know with certainty that God answers every petition beneath the rising sun.
You dwell at the very heart of my daily devotions, a steadfast rhythm of faith. We deeply revere your unwavering defense against defeat, and every opportunity to bless you fills me with joy—creating a sacred bond of unity that no force could ever sever.
Just recently in Washington, DC, I heard a dispatch would depart with handwritten letters for you.
I wrote this letter, my prayer poured on the page, to send you strength and gratitude across the seas.
May you always remember that elite professionals, the corporate engineers, stand proudly right beside you and uphold your brave frontiers.
We marvel at your fortitude, we echo every cheer, and send our deepest reverence for all your hard work.
Thank You IDF 💙

I sat within the donor room, my very blood to send,
To IDF in Gaza’s dust, standing with Israel forever.
